The
First Point.
A space honest enough to hold all of you. Together, we will connect the various dimensions of your health and identity.
Where Coaching Can Help.
We offer presence, accountability and a clearing wide enough to hold all of who you are.
-
You are a high-achieving professional, but sudden brain fog, 3:00 AM wake-ups, and fluctuating estrogen are causing an inability to show up with your usual sharp executive focus.
-
The executive burnout trap. You are expected to carry the weight of high-stakes work, community, and family without breaking while quietly dealing with erratic cycles, sudden hot flashes, or crushing afternoon fatigue. You’re running on empty while your body is navigating a heavy, real biological shift.
-
What used to work no longer works. The old diet hacks, high-intensity cardio, and stress strategies that kept you sharp in your 30s no longer work against your shifting 40-something biology.
-
Your symptoms have not been prioritized with practitioners. You are tired of entering medical spaces where your pain is minimized, your lived experiences are ignored, and you are told your labs are "normal" while you are visibly suffering.
-
You are trapped in chronic overload, sacrificing your sleep, your peace, and your physical health just to survive the demands of your career.
The Pause Within is a safe space to heal and understand what you need NOW, so you can shift from managing health to living it.
Recognize what’s changing, notice the patterns that matter, and better understand what your body may need as you move through perimenopause and menopause.
Deeper Understanding of Your Changing Body
Turn what you’re learning about yourself into realistic rhythms, habits, and practices that support your health and work in your actual life.
A Sustainable Way of Living
Recognize what’s changing, notice the patterns that matter, and better understand what your body may need as you move through perimenopause and menopause.
Make conscious trade-offs around your time, energy, and responsibilities—so the way you care for yourself reflects the capacity you actually have, not another list of things to do.
More Intentional Use of Your Energy
As your body, life, and priorities change, redefine health from where you are now—creating a personal vision that reflects not only how you want to feel, but how you want to live.
A New Vision of What Feeling Well Means
What We May Explore Together
The Pause Within isn’t built around a predetermined wellness protocol. We begin with what’s happening in your body, your life, and the way you’re caring for yourself, then you decide where to focus your attention.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative process that helps you take what you know, what you’re noticing, and what matters to you—and figure out how to put it into practice in your actual life.
-
Perimenopause and menopause can coincide with changes in sleep, energy, mood, body composition, relationships, work, caregiving responsibilities, and how you think about your health and the years ahead.
Coaching creates space to look at how those pieces connect—and to decide what caring for yourself in this season actually needs to look like.
-
No.
You may know you’re in perimenopause. You may suspect it. Or you may simply be noticing that something feels different and want to pay closer attention to your health.
Coaching can help you organize what you’re noticing, identify patterns, clarify your questions, and prepare for more productive conversations with your healthcare providers when needed.
-
No. And that distinction is important.
We can absolutely talk about what you’re experiencing during perimenopause or menopause, but coaching isn’t symptom treatment.
Your sleep may connect to your energy. Your energy may influence how you nourish yourself. Work may affect your capacity to move or rest. Caregiving may leave very little space for you. Habits that worked five years ago may not fit the life or body you have today.
-
Your healthcare providers and your health coach serve different roles.
Doctors and other licensed healthcare professionals diagnose, treat, prescribe, and provide clinical care. Health coaching does not replace that care.
Coaching focuses on the space between knowing and living: understanding what matters to you, noticing patterns, identifying barriers, experimenting with realistic changes, and helping you put your health priorities into practice.
Pi Nourish is designed to complement the care and expertise of your healthcare team—not replace it.
-
You would not be alone.
Knowing and doing are different—and even doing all the “right” things doesn’t automatically mean those things are still supporting the person you are now.
Coaching gives you space to examine what’s working, what isn’t, what has changed, and whether the way you’re caring for yourself still fits your body, priorities, and life.
You don’t need someone to assume you haven’t figured enough out. Sometimes you need space to figure out what deserves your attention now.
-
No.
Health and wellness coaching does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, nutrition therapy, or other licensed professional services.
When something falls outside the scope of coaching, we’ll talk about the appropriate type of professional support to consider.

Pi Nourish was created with Black women at the center, recognizing that our experiences of health, work, caregiving, family, culture, and the many things we carry can shape how we experience and care for ourselves through perimenopause and menopause.
While Black women are centered in our work, Pi Nourish welcomes women of all backgrounds who connect with our approach to whole-person health and wellness coaching.
-
We will start with a free 15 minute consultation.
We will discuss what brings you to Pi Nourish, what you’d like support with, and what you hope could be different. You’ll also have a chance to learn more about my coaching approach and ask questions.
From there, we can decide together whether Pi Nourish feels like the right fit.
-
Yes. Please see the booking page for detailed information on payment plans.
Pi Nourish exists because women deserve to enter midlife informed rather than surprised, supported rather than isolated, and confident rather than confused.
A space you enter rather than a program you follow. All points lead back to you as the source. Not what we do to you — what lives inside you that the pause makes room for. This is a container where self-trust, inner wisdom, embodiment live.
